University student a local student was among the many individuals gathered at the location of a deadly fire that engulfed much of the eight-building housing complex in the region's northern district.

A minimum of over three dozen individuals have perished in Wednesday's devastating fire to date, with hundreds still not located, suggesting that this number will likely increase.

"This is a disaster," Thomas remarked about the fire, adding that he had observed a deceased person being removed from the location.
