The England manager Questions Wembley Fan Atmosphere Despite Emphatic Win Over Wales.
Thomas Tuchel expressed his sadness that the Three Lions team did not get greater backing from the home crowd during their commanding 3-0 friendly victory on Thursday evening.
Tuchel was satisfied to see his squad maintain their good form, with strikes from Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins, and Bukayo Saka inside the initial stages deciding the match. However, he was not content with the atmosphere at the iconic venue.
“We had limited training days to get ready against a drilled team and we did very well,” the coach commented. “It could have been 5-0 up at the break. We missed the fourth and fifth ones. The stadium was silent. We didn’t get support from the crowd. Our team gave their all to win.”

Away from risking a dispute among fans, the manager also caused a stir by leaving out Jude Bellingham and Foden from his squad. Yet the choice was backed up by Morgan Rogers delivering another standout performance in the attacking midfield role and scoring his first international goal.
“He is what he is,” Tuchel said. “He operates as an attacking midfielder and he is competing for his spot.”
Bellamy Hopes for Improvement from Defeat
The Wales manager expressed hope that his team, who host a strong Belgian side in a key qualifying match on next week, learn from their poor first-half display.
“This is why I scheduled this friendly,” Bellamy said. “I wanted to assess our current level. Where do we want to go? What is our identity? This performance gives me inspiration.”
